Whole Wheat Hot Cereal, Frugal Alternative to Oatmeal
Remember we purchased a 25# bag of Whole Wheat?
Simply crack the wheat in a blender (my blender did best 1 cup at a time and we cracked 2 cups for a family)
Cover with Water bring to boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat place lid on it and let sit over night.
In morning add some more water until a nice hot cereal consistancy and bring to boil cooking another 5 to 10 minutes.
We served ours with a little cinnamon and honey -Delicious!
That actually sounds good, esp the cinnamon and honey part. And it's healthy! Bonus!!
