What we have been eating

Since our last grocery shopping trip we have been eating an interesting and delicious variety of healthy (mostly) foods. I will try to post some of the recipes later but here is a quick view to give you an idea of the type of menu $100 purchased for us!

Breakfasts:
Homemade Granola Cereal 
Bananas and cream
Homemade granola bars
cornbread with homemade clover jelly or blackberry jam

Lunches
Water Melon with Homemade Protein Shakes
Raisins, Nuts, Sunflower seeds with homemade banana smoothie
banana and carob muffins
date and coconut muffins

Dinners
Layered Greens  with cornbread
Spinach Quiche
Felafel's balls (made with greens, breadcrumbs and cream cheese) with brown rice and biscuits
2 Stir fries with fresh pineapple or watermelon and greens (cornbread with one of them)
Cold Chicken Sandwich Spread with fresh mustard greens
Homemade Re fried Beans with Homemade Tortilla Shells


And of Course on the HOT days at night Root beer floats! YUM
