Parmesan Breaded Chicken Casserole



Parmesan Breaded Chicken Casserole


2 C. Bread crumbs
1 C. Grated Parmesan Cheese

4 Chicken Breasts Cooked and cut or shredded into about 1 inch pieces
3 C. Chicken Broth
1 C. Milk
1 T. Olive oil
1 onion chopped
1 tsp. prepared minced garlic or 2 cloves minced
4 T. Flour
Pepper to taste ( dash or two)
Pinch of Sea Salt
1 box  ( 1 lb) Penne Pasta
1 Can french style green beans (drained)


Mix the bread crumbs with parmesan cheese and set aside.  Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until slightly clear ( about 5 minutes)  add flour with pepper and salt and stir. Slowly add chicken broth stirring constantly over medium heat. Add milk slowly stirring constantly and stir until slightly thickened. While doing this part have the Penne Pasta boiling and cooking according to directions on box and drain when done)

Add chicken pieces and green beans to chicken broth and milk sauce stirring well and heating up ( about 5 minutes and remove from burner)

In 13 x 9 casserole pan pour in Penne pasta then dump sauce over top and stir in well.

Top with bread crumb mixture.

Place in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until top is golden brown.
